As an account manager, you will be expected to manage projects end-to-end and act as a liaison between the agency and our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for the health, growth, and profitability of the account. In your role, you should showcase excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. You should also act proactively to address clients’ needs and ensure timelines and deliverables are met. Your core responsibility is to maintain our company-client relationships at a high level and ensure that we never compromise on the quality and timeliness of our work while developing and growing your own skillset in the entire spectrum of marketing services.
The Role
- Manage a team of account executives and ensure their development and growth
- Working with internal teams to devise campaigns, ideas, and solutions that meet clients’ requirements
- Ensuring deadlines, timelines and deliverables are met at the highest level, in a timely fashion
- End-to-end project management, encompassing the integrated disciplines of branding, digital and social, events, and public relations
- Ensuring smoothness of workflow between internal teams working on deliverables
- Proofreading and quality control of all outgoing deliverables on a daily basis
- Negotiating with clients and providing solutions
- Managing timesheets, reporting, and profitability of campaigns and the entire account
- Ideation and presentations with clients; Requirements: - Expectations and Duties
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in project management, copywriting, social media, and/or content marketing, preferably in a social or digital agency.
- A wide interest in the intersection between technology and culture/human behavior.
- Acute attention to detail amidst working on multiple items at one go
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to use initiative and be flexible
- Excellent management and organizational skills
- The ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Drive and determination
- A ‘never quit’ attitude, with an inclination to always find a solution
- Good team working skills
- Oral and written communication skills - high level of proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must
- Good commercial awareness and working knowledge of multiple industries and communication technologies
- A passion for marketing and an understanding of what makes good campaigns
- A willingness to learn
- Ability to critically analyze a situation and provide solutions on the go
