Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia OAKWOOD HOTEL & RESIDENCE KUALA LUMPUR Full time

**Staff Supervision**:Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants and support personnel.

Schedule shifts and assign tasks to ensure efficient coverage.
- **Quality Control**:Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain high cleanliness standards.

Address any issues identified during inspections and ensure prompt resolution.
- **Training and Development**:Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.

Provide ongoing training to enhance the skills and performance of the team.
- **Inventory Management**:Manage and monitor the inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.

Coordinate with the Housekeeping Manager to reorder supplies as necessary.
- **Communication**:Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping Manager, front desk, and other hotel departments to coordinate activities.

Address guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
- **Performance Evaluation**:Monitor the performance of housekeeping staff and provide regular feedback.

Assist in performance evaluations and contribute to the development of improvement plans.
- **Guest Satisfaction**:Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness standards to enhance guest satisfaction.

Collaborate with the front desk to address any special guest requests or concerns.
- **Safety and Compliance**:Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with hotel policies and industry regulations.

Conduct regular safety training for housekeeping staff.
- **Problem Resolution**:Address and resolve any issues or conflicts among housekeeping staff.

Escalate complex issues to higher management when necessary.
- **Emergency Response**:Implement emergency response plans for unexpected situations, such as spills or accidents.

Ensure the housekeeping team is trained on emergency procedures.

- Holidays
- Night shift
- Rotational shift
- Weekend jobs

**Education**:

- STM/STPM (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Housekeeping: 1 year (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Kuala Lumpur (required)
