National Sales Manager

As the National Sales Manager for Aftermarket Motorcycle Parts in Malaysia, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales and marketing efforts, expanding its market presence, and ensuring the overall success of the business in the region. Your leadership and strategic vision will be essential in achieving our goals and delivering exceptional results.
**a) Job Responsibilities**:
- Sales and Marketing
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth in both B2B and B2C markets
- Identify new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to expand the company's presence in the motorcycle parts industry.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to achieve targets
Business Development
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and manufacturers, to enhance the company's market position.
- Explore and negotiate partnerships, collaborations, and distribution agreements to expand the product reach and market share.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors to adapt strategies accordingly.
Retail Sales Management
- Oversee the retail sales operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, visual merchandising, and exceptional customer service.
- Implement pricing strategies, promotions, and incentives to drive sales in the retail sector.
- Collaborate with the retail team to optimize store layouts and product displays.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and motivated sales and marketing team
- Set performance objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Budget and Financial Management
- Develop and manage budgets for sales, marketing, and retail operations.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and take corrective actions to achieve profitability targets.
- Ensure cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
Market Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer preferences, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Prepare regular reports on sales, marketing, and retail performance, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.
**; Requirements**:
- Possess Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success in the aftermarket motorcycle parts industry.
- Retail sales management experience is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the motorcycle parts industry, including product categories, market dynamics, and key competitors.
- Familiarity with local market trends.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Strategic mindset with the capability to identify growth opportunities and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit retail locations.
