Assistant Manager

**Job Descriptions**
- Assist in the implementation of the Group's strategy & risk framework to support the achievement of its strategic objectives and to provide assurance to the Board, management and stakeholders.
- AProposing strategies and action plans for the group’s overall strategic direction.
- ACollaborating with divisional businesses to review strategic goal-setting and collection of KPI data for reporting.
- AIdentifying potential risks affecting the group or specific divisions (e.g. based on internal risks or external threats), assessing materiality and updating the Business Risk Registers.
- AWork with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- ACoordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- AMonitoring and evaluating identified risks against a variety of information & factors (e.g. statistics /reports /trends) to provide recommendations on how best to mitigate these risks.
- ADevelopment of tools, processes and key risk indicators to monitor changes in likelihood and impact.
- AProviding insightful, quality reporting to divisional heads, Committees and other key stakeholders to support strategic plans and risk processes.
- AAssisting with planning, implementing and managing specific strategic projects, including the monitoring and reporting on such projects.
- AAd-hoc collaborations with business/support divisions (e.g. strategy proposals, analysis or analytics, writing policies, guidance frameworks, etc).
- AResearch problems and determine the data required to answer specific questions and problems.
- ATranslate data into written reports, tables, graphs and charts (including developing creative data visualizations to illustrate key findings); interpret data results to provide written commentary that articulates pertinent findings.
- AAny other tasks as required by the Head of Group Strategy & Risk.
**Job Requirements**
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in risk management, audit, engineering, business or a related field is required for this position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English (Writing & oral communication)
- Previous, practical experience of operating within a varied and busy Strategy/ Risk Management environment is a plus.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent relationship management skills - proven experience of building internal & external relationships, through strong interpersonal and team working skills.
