Executive - Finance

**a) ** **Financial Accounting**
- Overall accountable for daily accounts operations, responsible for general accounting function in account payable, account receivables and inter-group transactions.
- Prepare and review reconciliation statement for bank and inter-companies in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly financial closing and ensure all books are closed by the 4th day of the subsequent month.
- Ensure daily transactions are timely and accurately recorded into the accounting system and ensure reconciliations between GL and subledgers are done timely and correctly for monthly closing.
- Prepare monthly Statement of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet for all subsidiaries and prepare of Consolidated financial statements.
- Maintains accurate collection, compilation and filling of all accounting records.
- Responsible for Accounts Receivable and report on deviations.
- Check, verify and prepare on payables, receivables, bank reconciliation and journals.
- Liaise with tax agent, company secretary, bankers, customers and related parties.
- Liaise with external auditors on year-end audit and preparation of audited financial statements.
- Performs whatever additional tasks as assigned by superiors.
**b) Taxation**
- Ensure corporate tax compliance cycles such as tax estimates, annual tax computation and return, GST returns, tax instalment payments and withholding tax remittances are submitted on a timely basis.
- Assist in dealings with the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) on tax queries, field audits, and any other dealings with IRB and other tax related government bodies, external auditors, tax consultants and solicitors.
- Monitoring of tax refund cases, tax appeals and etc.
- Review provisional tax computation for tax estimation purposes.
**Job Specifications**
- Minimum three (3) years of related working experience preferable with audit background.
- In-depth understanding of account functions including account payables, intercompany transaction, cash flow and general ledger reconciliation.
- Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
