Executive Housekeeper

**JOB RESPOSIBILITY**:
**Responsible for planning, directing, controlling and coordinating the activities of Housekeeping personnel; ensuring cleanliness, maintenance and orderliness of guest rooms, function rooms, public areas, garden, back of the house areas, Laundry and their surroundings.**
- Participate in the selection and recruitment processes of Housekeeping staffs.
- Develop and conduct departmental trainings, cross-trainings, and SOP refreshment trainings for all Housekeeping staffs.
- Evaluate the job competency of all Housekeeping staffs from time to time and extensively during the departmental performance evaluation.
- Have proper and updated administrative records of each staff with regards to staff performance, including ‘counseling sheet’, ‘reprimand letter’, as well as ‘recognition of a job well done’ letter, and other staff related matters.
- Control and support the works of subordinates, especially during change of shift, busy check-in/check-out, and other busy hours by being around them and personally active in serving the guests when necessary.
- Be a good role model by displaying “walk the talk” attitude at all times.
- Make frequent checking of vacant-cleaned-inspected rooms, especially those for VIP arrivals in order to ensure that the rooms are in tip-top condition.
- Brief Housekeeping Supervisors in functions, VIP arrivals and other events, which will necessitate additional or special preparations.
- Inspect hotel rooms and premises regularly; ensure that furnishing, facilities and equipment are cleaned, repaired, maintained and replaced as necessary. Inform management on requirements and correct deficiencies if possible.
- Control and see to the adequacy of inventory of all necessary Housekeeping material and supplies, including the availability of linens and uniforms as required.
- Approve and / or prepare maintenance orders, work orders, requisitions, report on guest complaints and other inter-office memoranda.
- Control supplier contracts regarding pest control, hygiene service, etc. and ensure work programs are carried out as scheduled with minimum guest inconvenience.
- Control and check laundry operation.
- Check and control garden operations
**Requirements**:
- Possess at least SPM in related field with 3 years’ similar working experience as Executive Housekeeper.
- Detail oriented to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and able to communicate with persons at all levels.
- Purchasing and inventory skills is an asset.
- Highly knowledgeable in the use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment and laundry.
- Possess strong leadership and people management skills.
- Able to work in Medini Nusajaya Area
