Consumer Research Executive

**The incumbent will assist in developing, collecting and managing market intelligence data and to provide reporting, analysis and insights that are consumer centric, actionable and value added to support effective and efficient business planning and decision making.**
**Key Roles**:
- Provide support in harnessing consumer insights, trend analysis and volume forecast and scenario building model in the preparation of business updates during commercial planning process (CR/SPC/ASP). Work on new product category potential evaluation, as well as the preparation of presentation deck for management's review and presentation.
- Gather relevant data, conduct analysis and/or researches to generate insights and drawing forward-looking conclusions. Monitor the emerging medium to long-term trends of consumers, selected channels and the retail environment, analyze by brand, region, channel and etc. to identify gaps versus objectives.
- Work with internal stakeholders to assist them in defining research needs and developing appropriate methodology. Work with Regional and HQ on research brief alignment & provide support on all other initiatives.
- Support the Brand / Consumer Activation team with analysis that leads to identification of opportunities based on consumer needs/profiles/behaviors (general and at POC), segmentation dynamics, channel and trade characteristics as well as equity of the Company brands.
- Work with superior on KPIs setting for activation programs and evaluate their effectiveness post programs to identify best practices to ensure a focus on information (insight and intelligence) needs and optimal capture of lessons learnt.
- Work with superior to streamline reporting, manage the reporting repository and reflect latest market trends to facilitate decision making process. Provide fundamental tools, training to enable other functions to become “self-sufficient” to free up more time to think (insight/foresight generation).
- Assist with executing and managing both **qualitative & quantitative consumer research projects**, including working closely with research agencies to implement research projects that would lead to consumer-centric, actionable and value-added insights, **including**:
- _Preparation of research brief._
- _Managing the research agencies on project timeline, questionnaire development and translation, monitoring project progress by attending all pre-field work briefing and frequent field observation._
- _Performing qualitative and quantitative data analysis and the delivery of actionable insights._
- _Analysis and preparation of research report through Executive and Management Summary._
- Provide reporting, analysis and consumer insights /information strategic market information and analysis with business implications /recommendations to support effective and efficient business decisions, **including the following**:
- _Macro-environment Impact & Analysis_
- _Performance Report_
- _Tracker Report Analysis_
- _Consumer Profile and Brand
- Switching Analysis_
- _Product Performance Dashboard_
- _Any ad hoc analysis when business needs arise_
**Requirements**:
- 2 years of solid Consumer Research **(both Quantity & Qualitative analysis).**:
- Experienced in **Tobacco / FMCG is a MUST.**:
- Good business / editorial writing skills.
- Good knowledge of **SPSS**, Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel & PowerPoint.
- Good command of English & Bahasa. **Chinese dialects** is a plus to support business needs.
- Yearly Contract position (Renewable/Lead to Perm).
