APAC HR Operations Process Excellence Leader

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Process Excellence**
- Conduct current-state assessment of business processes and drive improvements through variance reduction, waste elimination and standardization.
- Understand and document the complexity and variations of HR operational processes and workflows across countries and legal entities in the region.
- Document current state end to end processes for designated areas of the employment lifecycle including relationships to identify where future redesign efforts should focus
- Proactively identify the important problems in support of company goals and create processes/solutions to address them.
- Work across HR functions to facilitate, develop, document and measure end to end processes utilizing process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, Kaizen etc). Collaborate with key cross-functional partners during the road mapping cycle to identify, influence and recommend impactful process solutions
- Drive implementation of process enhancement initiatives/key projects and support change management across the firm as HR projects are implemented.
- Champion all aspects of best operational practice including process review, implementation of continuous improvement approaches and simplification of HR Services experience.

**Operational and Project Support**
- Provide ad-hoc process excellence support & influence cross-functional teams on operational issues, strategies & best practices. Facilitating root-cause review with GPOs and other stakeholders to prioritize the severity of disconnects/problems and identify root cause solutions for each disconnect/problem
- Lead and Project Manage key improvement initiatives in partnership with regional/global shared service and COE teams. This could be related to technology, process or policy deployment that affects overall end-to-end process excellence

**Performance Governance**
- Measure the outcomes and outputs of process improvement initiatives and leverage analytics & insights. Utilize metrics and analytics to identify opportunities and direct continuous improvement.
- Leverage user research and analytics to identify adoption opportunities for new products and improvements for current products, supporting user-centered activities such as concept testing and usability testing
- Analyzing current processes and identify disconnects or problems with each activity for future root-cause review with global process owners (GPOs) and centers of excellence (COEs)
- Create and maintain the global process governance in close partnership with the functional operations teams across HR. Ensure process and documentation meets key process excellence attributes
- Quantify the experience issues and assess key organizational impact, make recommendations for improvement in conjunction with continuous optimization of service standards

**Stakeholder Management and Change Communication**
- Ensuring appropriate transition, communication and implementation plans are developed with relevant stakeholders for process improvements/changes
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders. Manage escalation and facilitate decision making discussion.
- Keep stakeholders informed via effective project management reporting and update
- Build partnerships and solicit feedback from internal and external partners to define and develop flexible, automated and scalable processes and practices.

**Requirements**:

- 5-8 years’ experience in HR service delivery/shared services organizations
- Experience with process design, re-engineering, identifying areas for process improvements
- Experience in PMO / business excellence-related roles, with HR knowledge/background.
- Subject matter expert for continuous improvement tools and method, in Lean, business process mapping, and project management
- A strong understanding of HR systems functionality, coupled with an understanding of the functionalities and capabilities of other (advanced) technology solutions like RPA and AI
- Strong communication, collaboration, facilitation and influencing skills with ability to interface across shared services functional areas and HR at all levels
- Ability to work in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, excellent follow-through, and organizational skills.
- Ability to share information across HR functions; manage stakeholders with diverse interests; make actionable recommendations
- Fluent in English.
