Perform tax work for personal and companies on direct tax as assigned
- Coordinate the tax administrative aspect of the portfolio
- Review tax computation and identify the tax issues based on various taxation statutes (including developer, incentive, loan provider, commission, retail and dormant companies)
- Give guidance and tax compliance and tax administration
- Assist Director in ad-hoc cases
Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare income tax computation, working sheet & return form for companies and individual in compliance with Income Tax Act 1967 and relevant legislation.
- Advice, prepare and review tax estimation and monitor routine tax compliance requirement to ensure prompt submission.
- Liaise with IRB in written and orally to resolve tax matter.
- To ensure all tax audit request and queries are responded in timely and accurate manners.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university with major in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) or/and CPA or any equivalent certification.
- At least 5 years of related working experience for a medium size or large property development or construction company with at least 5+ years of working experience in handling audit and tax matters from an established public accounting firm.
- English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
- Experienced in liaising with IRB.
- Strong analytical & leadership skills and able to work under pressure.
- Able to multi-task, pro-active, result orientated and able to interact with people at all levels.
**Salary**: RM7,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
**Experience**:
- in handling audit and tax matters: 5 years (preferred)
