Key Responsibilities: Effectively manages the day to day operation of Accounting to execute finance and accounting responsibilities for the group of companies. The ability to gather and organize information using a logical and systematic process; recognize patterns and relationships in complex data; examine data to identify implications, problems and draw appropriate conclusions; generate alternative solutions to problems; evaluate strengths, weaknesses and consequences of alternative solutions and approaches to solving problems. Assists the Finance Director in developing the annual business plan, budgets, forecasts, financial reports, tax compliance, and profit & loss statements. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company Works through own team and influencing department managers to ensure appropriate controls are in place to manage business risks. Sustains a work environment that focuses on fair and equitable treatment and associate satisfaction to enable business success. Verifies that profits and losses are documented accurately, in line with Group Processes and procedures. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work and the work of the finance and administration team. Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings Evaluates information to determine compliance with standards, using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards. Provides on going analytical support (e.g. monitoring the ticketing department’s actual and projected sales and profit and coaches management team to ensure financial goals are met and opportunities are identified and addressed). Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other professionals to ensure compliance on all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirement. Manages internal, external and regulatory audit processes and ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), verifying that Company policies are administered fairly and consistently. Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA preferred Minimum of 8 years relevant experience with proven achievement in prior employment Previous accounting experience gained within property development, ticketing operational industry or hospitality industry is essential; Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in English and Chinese language Highly organised with the ability to multi-task, resourceful, pro-active, highly motivated and own initiative. Excellent analytical, report writing, communication and presentation skills. Good problem solving skills, ability to identify issue, access risks and offer solution options. Financial accounting and controls in a multi-site / group environment, including managing inter-company transactions.
