**Responsibilities**:

- Managing a team of Accountants working on company’s projects.
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions).
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting and present.
- Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for company departments.
- Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets that are adequate for the organisation’s needs including preparation of periodic budget forecasts.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses as needed.
- Analyse monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to team members as requested.
- Assist in preparing year-end books for audit.
- Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures and regulations for any necessary entities. Process vendor/suppliers payments and check requests.
- Process team member reimbursements including managing team members’ accounts and reconcile accounts.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts as assigned.
- Respond to inquiries from team members regarding departmental budgets, disbursement and reporting requests.
- Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis as indicated by the monthly closing schedule.
- Process payroll, report payroll, taxes, EPF, SOCSO, payments etc are being monitored and accounted for.
- Perform basic office management duties as requested.
- Attend and present the Department work progress (KPI) during the Quarterly Market Meeting.
- Ensure a standardised cash management system is executed and practiced.
- Conducts regular cash audits in outlets and reports if any discrepancies occur.
- Developing a company’s financial and accounting policies, workflows and methods after consultations with managing director
- Presents recommendations to management on short
- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
- Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiation

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
- Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
- Advance excel skills and experience with SQL preferred.
- Bonus: F&B & Hotel experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
