Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

1. Work closely with clients and internal teams to develop effective digital marketing strategies and proposals for various e-commerce businesses (inclusive of digital advertising strategy, media and campaign planning).

2. Identify and develop new opportunities to drive traffic, increase reach, acquire new customers, and increase sales for eCommerce clients.

3. Deliver objective driven media plans and budgeting for clients (platforms, ad formats, duration, frequency, targeting, messaging, etc)

4. Set-up and continuously monitor and perform optimization of performance marketing campaigns across key platforms: Facebook & Instagram, Google (Search, Display, YouTube) and LinkedIn, with the end goal to drive better ROIs.

5. To support clients with campaign ideation, planning & implementation to help grow client GMVs.

6. Analyze and measure business impact for brand awareness, conversion and loyalty using media performance, web analytics and research tools. Assess the performance of each digital channel and provide recommendations to maximize ROI.

7. Actively identifies relevant awards to participate in and assists in the award write-up and submission.

8. Consistently keep abreast on latest platform updates, news and trends to ensure timely implementation for clients where relevant and to also provide updates to clients.

9. Support in preparing Digital Marketing and eCommerce related content for webinars and participate in the presentations as well.

What do you need to have for the role?
- Ability to develop digital advertising strategy and perform media buy.
- Familiarity with executing best practices in all digital functions including: e-commerce, acquisition marketing, Social and CRM.
- Minimum 4-5 years experience in a digital media agency or brand digital marketing.
- Experience in SEM and running Performance based marketing for eCommerce industry.
- Experience interacting directly with client stakeholders
- Strategic thinker and strong project management skills with a proven track record of seeing projects through from concept to post-mortem
- Independent, creative self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a highly energetic, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience and successes in digital marketing, media planning and analytics (experience with web analytics and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics).
- Shows passion and interest in the eCommerce and retail space.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
