JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you will do:
Role of the Third Party Apps and Commercials SAVP is to drive aggregation of Third Party Providers (“3PP”) apps on Astro services with the goal of improving overall customer experience and stickiness to our service. This role will also act as the main liaison between Astro and 3PPs by building, maintaining and managing long term relationship with the 3PPs.

Responsibilities include:
3PP Apps Aggregation and Life Cycle
- To map out and update 3PP apps roadmap with selection criteria that complement existing content offering while at the same time, introduce contemporary content offering and also non-traditional Over-The-Top (“OTT”) partnerships to drive new customers acquisition as well as migration of customers to the new Astro portfolio.
- To identify potential strategic 3PP and negotiate the best terms for Astro covering app, content acquisition, partnership on distribution channels, advertising sales (digital and linear, where available) and marketing support from 3PPs.
- To lead and co-ordinate 3PP apps integration and go-to-market initiatives in line with agreed commercials terms and internal strategy. To have regular sync-ins with internal stakeholders from Product, Commercials, Technology and Marketing covering areas such as functions and business rules (e.g. user journey for purchase and sign-in, user viewing journey, etc.) to meet launch targets; and liaising with 3PPs on the key content to promote, brand identity as well as obtaining necessary approvals/clearances.
- To support in life account management, working with internal stakeholders to maximize 3PP app value proposition to customers as well as coming up with initiatives to strengthen the app proposition through marketing, pricing and sales platforms.
- Stakeholder management - to establish good relationship with 3PPs and internal stakeholders; to strategise the business intent and content/brand proposition to provide the best customer/subscribers’ experience and increase/ sustain pack subscriptions, at the same time.
- To keep up with international and local content and apps space and provide constant market intel update to management.

Revenue Generation/Enhancement and Viewership Metrics
- Establish and monitor financial targets (e.g. revenue and profit margins) and non-financial targets (e.g. sign-ups, activation, MAUs, etc.) for each 3PP apps.
- To establish good relationship with internal stakeholders e.g. Customer Division and Product Division teams in working on increasing ARPU initiatives; and Marketing team in pushing for signups and activations to increase ARPU.

Astro Content Group Reporting and Content Strategy
- Lead on Content division annual budget and Content strategy covering annual and 3-year plans as well as board presentation, working together with Content heads to consolidate strategy of each unit to come up with overall divisional strategy.
- Leadon monthly divisional performance reporting and analysis, covering linear channels, VOD on STB and Astro Go, Sooka as well as 3PP.
- Any other divisional ad hoc reporting to leadership team or Board.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Who you are:

- At least 4 years of experience in content or OTT related field. Experience in business development and partnerships with strong market network will be an added advantage.
- Self-starter, diligent and resourceful.
- Good organizational agility, command skills and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions and lines of multiple business units.
- Ability to analyse data and communicate findings succinctly to cross-function business partners and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word).
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
