Sales Specialist (Partner and Channel) - Networking products and solutions
Job Location - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Our client is a multinational technology giant based in Silicon Valley that manufactures and sells networking hardware, software, telecommunications equipment, and other technology services and products. They have a significant presence globally and in the APJC region with over 100,000 employees working on the company’s latest technology solutions. We are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our client's existing team in Malaysia. You will work closely with the sales organization related to our client’s sales-oriented products and solutions and manage their partners.
We need a creative individual who will be responsible for the delivery and execution of sales activities, including but not limited to partner mgt, sales quota, channel, Disti, SI, and virtual sales. You will work as part of a team in a rapidly changing business environment. You will need to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the targeted delivery of sales material, driving the relevant knowledge consumption for our key stakeholders.

As a part of the team, you will:
**Responsibilities**:
The Small Business Partner Sales (IT products Sales Specialist) will be responsible for recruiting Small Business sales with select resellers in assigned markets.
Recruit new and competitive value-added resellers specializing in telecom and IT/Networking products with a focus on the small business market.
Promote and ensure small business networking products, programs, promotions, and sales support tools
Drive monthly and quarterly revenue within a given territory
Ensure resellers are aware of key support programs and tools that enhance their ability to sell and support the small business networking products
Promote and communicate the benefits of the small business channel partner program
Schedule daily meetings with territory resellers and maintain a strong appointment calendar
Create and maintain territory opportunity pipeline
Gather data, information, and intelligence about each reseller
Complete web-based visit/call report on a daily basis
Manage assigned territory and schedule to maximize the number of reseller visits on a daily and weekly basis.
Establish and maintain timely and effective communication with their SBAM / TBM manager
Attend regional events when necessary
Skills Required:
Minimum 3 years of sales experience (IT related will be a bonus)
With or without IT channel sales experience
With or without Cisco product knowledge
Willingness to learn and grow
Positive attitude & fast learner
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 3-5 years outside/ partner/channel sales experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of B2B & B2C sales experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation and training skills
Sound time management and organization skills
Small business market networking technology product knowledge
Experience with IT channel sales.
Well aware of the market and Malaysia partners, resellers, Disti's, Competitors, PSU's.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
Must have reliable transportation.
Good training and presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Prefer technical Pre/ Post Sales experience
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 36 months
**Salary**: RM5,500.00 - RM7,800.00 per month
