**Food and Beverage Manager** - Managing and overseeing all food and beverage operations in a hospitality establishment, to ensure high-quality service, effective cost management, and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:
Direct all aspects of the SOGO F&B Department day-to-day operations to ensure that the organisation functions efficiently and in accordance with the long-term mission, vision, values, and objectives defined by the Executive Director and the Board of Directors.

Develop and implement an organisation human resource strategy that aligns with the organisation's vision and its current and long-term business objectives.

**Accountability**:

- Contribute to the development of corporate objectives, strategies and plans; oversee, monitor, and evaluate the F&B Department performance so that these strategies and objectives are met.
- Supervise the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in infrastructure, technology, equipment, systems, or other assets and resources; analyse and suggest operational investments that best meet the organisation’s business needs within approval limits or make recommendations to the top management team.
- Oversee the opening or closing of facilities and the operational aspects of mergers and acquisitions so that these activities are completed on time and within budget and with mínimal disruption to the organisation’s day-today operations.
- Develop and implement an organisation human resource strategy that aligns with the organisation's vision and its current and long-term business objectives. Ensure all within the budget.
- These may include: recruitment; training; performance evaluation; organisational development; relocation; equal employment/affirmative action; health, safety and wellness; employee communications; employment/industrial/labour relations.
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the team to ensure the F&B manpower implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines and budgets. Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the operation level to ensure operation excellence and profitability.
- Quality, Service and Cleanliness. Supervise Operation Team for day to day Quality, Service and Cleanliness reports, and liaise with tenants to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence. Recommend changes to working conditions to ensure all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and the organisation complies with all regulations and laws, and internal safety policies and standards. Educate and train the team to ensure they understand and comply.
- Financial Performance Review and take action in area of managing cost and sales performance. Taking necessary action to implement cost control while maximizing sales.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food and beverages. Culinary or food service management degree may be advantageous. In-depth knowledge of the food industry.
- Proven food and beverage management experience.
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
- Mastery in delegating multiple tasks.
- Communication and leadership skills.
- Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices.
- Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
- Guest-oriented and service-minded.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift

**Education**:

- STM/STPM (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Managing F&B: 3 years (preferred)
