Operation Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to monitor and manage all the daily operations job flow for import & export shipment of the Group.
- Help to resolve any branch facing difficulties with Custom & OGAs matter.
Provide support to Custom Declaration team, CS & Sales team for any HS code references..
- Place booking & supervise all delivery & pickup of breakbulk cargo with special equipment transporter.
- Liaison with CS to advise client on the special requirement during Custom clearance.
- Update CS & Sales Team on any latest changes by local Authorities & terminals.
- Attend briefing by statutory & regulatory bodies for latest updates & dissemination of related information.
- Support to explain to customers on operations matters and meet them upon request by Sales or Customer Service.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as per requirement due to last minute planning of shipment.
- Visit other branch operation teams to observe the job flow smoothness. Any problem or hiccup will try to resolve them immediately. If not, will report to
- Operation VP for solutions.
- Report to GM from time to time for any shipments that need special attention or facing difficulties.

**Requirements**:

- At least 6 years of freight forwarding-related experience including three years in management required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- With valid customer clearance and KEK (Sijil Kursus Ejen Kastam)/KEP (Sijil Kursus Ejen Perkapalan) certificate will be an added advantage
