Duty Manager

1. Able to handle requests and complaints from the guests when the absence of Department Head.
2. Handle matters related to proper billings and investigate on complaints.
3. During heavy check in and check out, greet guests who may be waiting, offering assistance to avoid delays.
4. Must be thoroughly familiar with the Hotel’s policies and procedures in particular of reservations, room assignments, housekeeping methods, outlets cashier billing, room charges posting, credit and security.
5. It to maintain a log book and record any unusual incidents and check any important matters or issues to be follow up.
6. Maximize hotel occupancy, average rate and stimulate internal promotion of our Food & Beverage facilities.
7. To check cashier’s shift banking initial float book and transaction vouchers or adjustment that are generated by the Front Office assistant.
8. Ensure all in house program are operating at the specified time schedule.
9. Ensure guest relations are maintained at the highest standard and schedule at least 5 customers at each shift for feedback on their requirements.
10. To perform rounds on the floors and other location to ensure various entrances are properly locked.
11. Supervises the administration of internal system and to be able to trouble shoot any system error occurred in the process of night auditing.
12. Make daily check on the standard of the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel rooms. Welcomes and meet VIPs upon arrivals and to escort them to their assigned room.
13. Make frequent periodic inspection of the guestrooms and public area so as to be thoroughly knowledgeable of the locations and checks their physical cleanliness and appearance.
14. Responsible to prepare the guest’s accident report, complaints, VIP’s list and close liaison with the Accounts department for guest’s high balance report that has exceeded the house limit.
15. Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
