**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Planning and implementing overall procurement prospects, managing procurement schedules and oversees the procurement department activities.
- Lead sourcing on commodities by managing price negotiation, supplier selection and evaluation to deliver quality standards and on time delivery.
- Contracts (including formal, short form, and annual contracts) - drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution, provide guidance on contract matters to Project managers or other operational staff.
- Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationship with suppliers, sourcing contractor and consultant. Serve as the point of contract for customers on contractual matters.
- Ensure material flow to insure inventory is maintained to the optimum level to support production which keeping inventory holdings at the appropriate levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards and guiding principle. Provide recommendations and often negotiate directly with customer or purchasing staff until consensus has been reached.
- To coordinate entire logistic operation including all customs clearances, deliveries to sites, receiving, processing of work orders and invoicing in a timely manner.
- Work closely with suppliers on long term cost reduction programs, pricing, payment term, expedite and ensure smooth supply of materials to meet production requirements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of logistic procedures, space utilization and protection of equipment and recommendation for improvement.
- Responsible to ensure prompt update of all inventory and report in order to minimize variance between records and physical stock.
- Preparation of Letter of Award, report for award, variation order.
- To perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
- Required to deal with overseas.

**Requirements**:

- Required language (s) to converse, read and written: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related filed is required in this position.
- Possesses at least 2 years of leadership experience and capabilities.
- Able to work autonomously in a demanding environment (meaning hands-on problem solving skills are needed when necessary).
- Able to interact with all levels of the organization including senior management.
- Relationship builder, strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work internally and externally in an effective and efficient way.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Johor Bahru (Eco Business Park)

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
