Shipping Executive

**JOB REQUIREMENT**:
- Degree in any discipline with 5 years direct and relevant experience in particular in a manufacturing and export environment;
- Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills in English;
- Possess sound computer skills (MS Office Word and Excel);
- Strong working knowledge of UCP600, LC documentation and Incoterms;
- Strong working experience and track record in all forms of import/export documentation, especially in LC documentation;
- Experience in the Export/Import Department of a reputable Bank ;
- Be able to manage late working hours;
- Resourceful, energetic, able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and a good team player; and
- Knowledge of ISO9001 related functions and SAP B1 an added advantage.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for the smooth running of the daily operations of the Shipping Documentation Department:
- Assist to manage the Shipping Documentation Team;
- Prepare complete set of documents pertaining to local/export/import shipping documentation based on L/C and/or other credit terms;
- Arrange for all required documents to be attached from the relevant authorities/ ministries/ Chambers of Commerce;
- Maintain a direct relationship with the Company’s banks in respect to all export/import procedures and documentation;
Work with relevant internal parties such as Sales, Production and QA departments for documentation requirements such as certifications and lab test reports (e.g. COAs);
- Liaise with various external parties such as haulage companies, forwarders, government related authorities such as MITI, Customs, foreign embassies/consulates, Ministry of Health for documentation requirements;
Prepare invoices, issue Certificates of Origin, customs/ insurance declarations, monthly delivery/sales reports, MPOB reports, etc.;
- Coordinate closely with the Company’s logistics and shipping departments for scheduling and bookings to ensure smooth and timely cargo delivery;
Prepare supplier’s specific documentations such as ISF for the USA;
Track electronically the status of all the shipments and preparing a report of the same;
- Prepare and submit statistical reports to the management;
- To attend to customers' queries on shipping or documentary matter;
- To support the General Manager or any other Senior Manager to effectively plan, implement and manage the overall management system; and
- Any other assignment as given by the Management.

- Liaise with various external parties such as haulage companies, forwarders, government related authorities such as MITI, Customs, Chamber of commerce, foreign embassies/consulates, health officers) on delivery and documentations requirements;
- Coordinate closely with the Company’s logistics and operations departments for scheduling and bookings to ensure smooth and timely cargo delivery;
