Event Manager

**Responsibilities**:
**Profit & Loss Management**:
- Develop comprehensive event budgets, considering all revenue streams and expenses.
- Monitor expenses closely and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast revenue, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Maximize revenue generation through effective pricing strategies, sponsorship opportunities, and other income streams.
- Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints throughout the planning and execution phases.
**Event Planning and Execution**:
- Oversee all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
- Develop and implement innovative event concepts and themes to enhance attendee engagement and satisfaction.
- Coordinate promotional activities to drive attendance and meet revenue targets.
- Manage onsite operations to guarantee the smooth flow of activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
**Product Development**:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences.
- Work closely with the product development team to conceptualize and launch new offerings aligned with event objectives.
- Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance product offerings and drive revenue growth.
- Evaluate product performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement and refinement.
**Financial Reporting and Analysis**:
- Prepare comprehensive post-event financial reports, analyzing revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance financial performance.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on financial status, performance metrics, and key insights.
- Work closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial regulations.
**Team Leadership and Collaboration**:
- Lead and inspire a team of event professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve shared goals.
- Encourage innovation and creativity within the team to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in event management, with a strong focus on profit and loss management.
- Exceptional financial acumen and ability to analyze complex data sets to drive strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for delivering memorable and impactful events.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
**Salary**: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
