**A Snapshot of Your Day**
- Designs, develops, and manages opportunities with the go to market sales, bidding work packages related to customer projects, according to defined Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements, and with responsibility for economic results.
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Proactively identify, drive, develop, strategize, negotiate, and close service portfolio opportunities.
- Proactively drive the service portfolio and business strategy for each of the regional countries with the go to market teams through activities including preparing technical presentations, bidding proposals, and coordination of stakeholders.
- Assigned and responsible to Asia Pacific specific countries as the Sales Application (SA) lead working in a Matrix organization in collaboration with the in-country Service team, GT Sales, Factories and other SE Business areas and execution units to close identified opportunities and to grow the sale pipeline.
- Lead bid and offer management processes: This includes leading the team in developing bid strategies, creating compelling proposals and offers, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. The team lead should establish clear timelines and goals, allocate resources, streamline workflows to ensure the team operates efficiently, and coordinate & prioritize activities to deliver high-quality bids and offers within tight timelines.
- Develop and implement value add and pricing strategies: Develop pricing and scoping strategies that align with the organization's goals, market dynamics, and address customer pain points that create compelling value propositions. This includes analysing market data, assessing competitors' pricing, identifying issues, developing creative solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to determine optimal pricing models and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Foster a collaborative environment, encourage teamwork, and facilitate effective collaboration among team members to leverage their diverse skills and perspectives. This includes effectively conveying instructions, ensuring alignment on bid and offer strategies, providing feedback, and liaising with customers, partners, and other stakeholders involved in the bid process to gather input and insights to enhance the competitiveness and value of bids and offers.
- Monitor market trends and competition: Closely monitor and identify industry trends, analyse market dynamics, evaluate risks, and conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats to adjust bid and offer strategies, pricing, and value propositions to maintain a competitive edge and ensure compelling offerings.
- Continuous improvement and performance evaluation: Regularly evaluate the team's performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements. This includes conducting post-bid and post-offer analysis to gather feedback, capture lessons learned, and refine processes to increase win rates, profitability, and customer satisfaction
**Other Responsibilities**:
- Technical Service Sales supporting AP SA by providing technical presentation, bidding proposal, coordination, and implementation of SA strategy to the regions.
- Review Request for Quotations (RFQ) received from customers and develop and prepare technical and commercial offers with identification of key scope that highlights our OEM value.
- Responsible to lead the overall cost integration and analysis with consideration for technical and commercial risk assessment prior to arriving at final pricing.
- Collating and preparing tender documentation including drawings, technical data sheets, bill of materials, method statements, project plans, QHSE documentation, time schedules etc.
- Prepare outside purchase equipment RFQ(s) and work together with the regional supply chain manager(s) to engage and align for a compliant offer.
- Interface with operations, engineering, and factories throughout the world to optimize our technical and commercial offerings and to resolve configurations and technical changes including prioritization of works as required.
