SUMMARY OF JOB SCOPE

Provides in many interactions with guests and customers the first point of contact between Ixora Hotel and our guests / customers to present the most positive welcome and response. Supports the Front Desk, providing service to guests, for check in and check out, assisting guests with their needs, processing guest payments and acting as an information source on various matters. To ensure that guests receive the highest standard of welcome and service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.
- Administering check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Providing front desk services to guests.
- Assigning correct rooms and taking care of administrative duties.
- Delivering mail and messages as required
- Processing guest payments.
- Coordinating with Porters Service and Management.
- Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as hotel facilities, services, and local areas, key areas of tourist interest, main industrial area, etc.
- Handling meal and beverage requests as required in the absence of Straits Café Staff.
- Handling of general and unique requests to provide a positive outcome.
- Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests
- To use and record information as required, for follow up in the front office circulation log book and to fulfill guest requests according to the reservation record and guest history.

**Salary**: RM1,600.00 per month
