Assist in conducting cost analysis and updating standard costs. - Assist in updating the raw material price index. - Work closely with the supervisor to resolve costing issues. - Assist in conducting cost analysis, including materials, labor, overhead rates, inventory valuation, product costing, and product pricing. - Assist in collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and presenting data about the company's financial performance. - Lead an assistant costing supervisor and coordinate with various functions, such as the production team and supply chain. - Assist in verifying the fusion loss and scrap and reject items reported by production. - Be involved in providing cost studies to verify cost improvement savings when necessary. - Assist in maintaining costing for all of the company's products from time to time. - Be the contact person for other departments on finance and costing-related matters. - Assist with any unscheduled tasks as required by the department.
