1. Scheduled Waste Management: - Assisting in developing and implementing procedures and protocols for the proper handling, storage, and disposal of scheduled waste in accordance with applicable regulations. - Assist in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to scheduled waste management, including waste classification, labeling, packaging, and transportation requirements. - Assist in coordinating and overseeing the collection, storage, and disposal of scheduled waste in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner. - Assist in maintaining accurate records of scheduled waste generation, handling, and disposal activities. - Assisting in regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with waste management procedures. 2. Logistics Vehicles Inspection and Maintenance: - Assist in comprehensive inspection and maintenance program for logistics vehicles (trucks, vans, forklifts, etc.) to ensure their safe and efficient operation. - Involved in routine inspections of vehicles to assess their condition, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Collaborate with vehicle maintenance teams or external service providers to schedule and oversee regular maintenance, repairs, and servicing of logistics vehicles. - Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs. - Provide guidance to drivers and logistics personnel on safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance requirements, and emergency response procedures. 3. Regulatory Compliance: - Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and transportation safety standards related to scheduled waste management and logistics vehicles. - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, and communicate any regulatory changes or requirements to relevant stakeholders. - Assist in implementing measures to address identified compliance gaps and mitigate risks. - Assist in liaising with regulatory agencies and participate in audits and inspections as required. 4. Training and Communication: - Assisting in developing and delivering training programs on scheduled waste management practices, logistics vehicle safety, and emergency response procedures for employees involved in waste handling and logistics operations. - Assisting in communication of EHS policies, procedures, and updates effectively to all stakeholders, including drivers, logistics personnel, and waste management teams. - Promote a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance within the organization. 5. Incident Management and Reporting: - Assisting in investigating incidents, accidents, spills, or other related incidents involving scheduled waste or logistics vehicles, and develop detailed reports on root causes, corrective actions, and preventive measures. - Ensure timely reporting of incidents to relevant regulatory agencies, as required. - Maintain accurate incident records, including near-misses, and track corrective actions taken. - Involved with collaboration with stakeholders to implement measures to prevent the recurrence of incidents. 6. Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and technologies related to scheduled waste management, logistics vehicle safety, and environmental health and safety. - Assist in regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to waste management systems and logistics vehicle operations. - Assist in developing and monitoring key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of waste management and logistics vehicle safety programs. 7.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
