**Objectives of the Position**

Reporting operationally to Head of Global Communications and Change Management, Care Chemicals; administratively to Head of Human Resources and Change Management, Care Chemicals Asia Pacific, you will:

- Develop and execute strategic communication plans to support the sustainable growth of the Care Chemicals business in Asia Pacific. Ensure all marketing communications are in line with business strategy at excellence level.
- Act as Regional Business Unit (RBU) Communications contact of Care Chemicals Asia Pacific; collaborate with Regional Communications Services and Global Care Chemicals Communications to maintain One Voice4 Policy and ensure alignment in terms of communication objectives of the Operating Division

**Main Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement effective Care Chemicals communication strategy for business growth, providing professional advice on crisis communications, change management, and issues
- As representative within communications community and govern the standard of communication implementation across Asia Pacific. Manage the RBU budget to achieve quality and cost efficiency
- Explore continuous branding opportunities within RBU and develop consistent product branding strategy in the region
- Plan and execute marketing communications strategies across the Asia Pacific region, including product launches, technical center and plant openings, customer events, promotions, and product advertising, while also executing robust social media marketing and campaigns, supporting digital initiatives and lead generation
- Implement PR strategies in close collaboration with global team, ensure coordination and alignment for one voice policy. Responsible for press release and other media
- As point of contact for crisis and issues related communications material including standby statements, Q&A, customers letters, etc, in close collaboration with BU global communications and Regional Communications Services
- Assist the development of engagement programs (conferences, summit) to nurture business advocacy (industry associations, NGOs) and customer intimacy (for Global Key Accounts and Regional Strategic Accounts)
- Work with RBU Head and Management Team to drive efficient communication in organizational change topics. Determine and manage internal communication materials, including coordinate message alignment with Global Care Chemicals Communications
- Develop, implement and execute employee engagement programs, motivate positive acceptance to change, promote sense of belongings and foster culture of collaboration
- Support in ad-hoc projects when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in PR, advertising, branding, social media communications or corporate communications.
- Preferably with regional exposure within and good vendor connections
- Experience in Chemical industry would be an added advantage
- Good command of English; Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
