Account Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Accounting Operations:
○ Collaborate with the Head of Finance & Procurement in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
○ Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
○ Efficiently manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
○ Prepare financial reports and analyses to support the decision-making process of the Head of Finance & Procurement and other stakeholders.
○ Assist the Head of Finance & Procurement in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing data and recommendations.
- Investment:
○ Identify and evaluate investment opportunities for the company.
○ Source and secure funding for company investments, collaborating with the Head of Finance & Procurement.
○ Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities, assessing risks and returns.
- Compliance and Internal Controls:
○ Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., MFRS/IFRS) and local financial regulations, under the guidance of the Head of Finance & Procurement.
○ Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls to prevent fraud and errors.
○ Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory filings as directed by the Head of Finance & Procurement.
- Support for Head of Finance & Procurement:
○ Serve as a reliable and knowledgeable resource for the department on accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
- Other tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
