What’s the role?

Then this role could be for you This role provides the opportunity to build a strong learning and development culture to deliver on strategic goals and ambitions as well as desired business transformation. You will also develop and promote organisational development activities (including organization restructuring and support M&A/JVs). What does the role involve?
- Drive the desired cultural transformation through targeted initiatives and projects.
- Contribute to the development of leadership capabilities and other strategic competencies.
- Drive initiatives related to talent and succession management.
- Advisor and support to senior management on strategic people, culture, and OD processes/issues.
- Manage the Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM) learning and development function and build a learning & development culture.
- Contribute to organisational restructuring in line with long term strategy.
- Strategic HR and OD planning and implementation of key activities related to M&As and JVs.
- Contribute to the development of WSM global HR processes and solutions in line with business needs.
- Regular review of services and support from shared services providers in line with SLAs.
What you need is:
- Must have held a senior/management role in HR/OD, preferably in a large(er) global company.
- Fluent level of both spoken and written English. First-rate communication and presentation skills.
- Commercial acumen and experience of using metrics for driving performance.
- A pro-active attitude, strong work ethic and a passion for leading with integrity.
- Great interpersonal skills and a positive, approachable manner.
- A curious mindset, to think innovatively and rationally about concerns and produce creative solutions.
- Proficient IT skills.
- The ability to analyse and review HR data to identify trends.
