Travel Operations Coordinator

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Our partner, a fast-growing Australian end-to-end payments and rewards solution that is tailored to the needs of business owners, is looking to expand its team and hire for Travel Operations Coordinator The team is on a mission to build innovative technology that empowers Australian business owners to make payments more rewarding.
As Travel Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating travel-related activities with suppliers to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of travel arrangements for the customers. You will coordinate with other departments or teams to ensure seamless integration of travel arrangements with other operational activities and will be reporting to the onshore manager.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their travel plans.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Research destinations, accommodations, and transportation options based on client preferences and budget.
- Create detailed itineraries that include flights, accommodations, activities, and transportation

- Book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services for clients.
- Negotiate with suppliers to get the best prices and deals for clients
- Ensure all necessary travel documents, such as passports and visas, are in order.
- Provide clients with relevant information about travel restrictions, health requirements, and other important details
- Use booking systems and online platforms to make reservations and access information.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in travel regulations.
**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION**
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Prior experience in the travel industry in operations/reservations/rewards-related industry.
- Experience in travel contracts, reward seat research, or frequent flyer will be ideal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team player with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Flexible and with the ability to multitask
- Ability to identify and solve a problem or issue
- Ability to work independently while maintaining open communication.
- Highly detail-oriented with an ability to concentrate for an extended period.
