**MARKETING ASSISTANT MANAGER - CORUM WATCHES (M) SDN BHD**
Oversee the development and implementation of marketing communications strategies, for achieving the targets and objectives set by the Company. Assist in managing the marketing budget and expenditure to ensure P&L accountability.
Job Descriptions:
**Sales**
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationship with retailers/clients to generate business revenues for the brand.
- Perform sales activities on major account and to follow up with other accounts in consultation with the Regional Managing Director.
- Review progress of sales and keep track of monthly and annual target.
- Develop clear and effective plans/proposals to ensure revenue for the brand.
- Monitor the movement of sell-in-sell-through to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
- Analyze the market potential/conditions and competitive analysis to develop sales strategies. Continuously check with the brand’s key competitor partners for price comparison versus similar key references, presence in POs, other brands activities and events.
- Coordinate sale effort with marketing, accounting, logistics and technical service groups in the organization.
**Marketing**
**1. Consumer Marketing**
- Strategize and formulate the media strategy and brand communications tailored to meet market’s objectives
- Identify new opportunities and help develop engaging, creative and innovative ideas for marketing campaigns (digital and traditional) to elevate the brand perception and awareness
- Measure and report performance of all digital and non-digital marketing campaigns, and recommend improvements
- Liaise closely with vendors/ designers in the preparation and submission of ad materials, as well as communication collaterals (Print, Outdoor, Digital, Social Media, etc)
**2. Corporate Communications**
- Drive PR activities (dissemination of press releases, media clipping reports, media requests, photo-shoots, copy-writing of press releases) to elevate the brand perception and exposure
- Establish relationships with media and retailers to ensure constant engagement and brand advocacy
- Assist and work on a 360 degrees’ approach in all events, promotions and sponsorship activities (action plan, pre/post coverage, key learning, best practices, ROI reports)
**3. Trade Marketing**
- Implementation of visual merchandising and window animations at dedicated point of sale
- Identify and communicate improvements to ensure that the brand guidelines are adhered to in all point of sale
- Establish an image database of all point of sale and ensure information is up-to-date at all times
- Ensure proper maintenance, storage and inventory of all A&P merchandising and display materials
- Liaise with HQ, local contractors, and retailers to oversee the development of point of sale openings and renovation projects
**4. Administrative Duties**
- Managing the media plans and other marketing related matters
- Managing monthly media coverage ROI and analysis
Client/dealers servicing
- Maintain and build healthy relationship with Retailers at all levels. Build trust, value, effective communication, collaboration, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity with the retailers.
- Seek co-op opportunities with retailers to achieve brand’s objective in terms of events/sponsorships etc.
- Maintenance of all brand’s Point-of-Sales/Materials/Misc. item
Training
- Continuously conduct training to the retail staffs to update on product/marketing knowledge of the brand.
**Job Requirements**:
- Degree in Marketing or Mass Communications discipline with minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in sales & marketing
- Preferably with working experience in digital marketing.
- Highly organized, hands on and attention to details.
- Ability to exhibit a sense of ownership and execution.
- Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority, anticipate issues and provide creative solutions.
- Must be a team player who thrives on deadline-driven projects & deliver under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Strong computer skills required especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willing to travel within the region if assigned by Company.
- Required languages: English and Chinese.
