Operations Manager

**Main Responsibilities**

Reports to the Director of Operations and lead a team of operations packers and drivers. This includes ensuring that the daily operations is in compliance with all regulatory, licensing, safety and environmental requirements; you will also identify areas of improvements in all work processes and drive overall business performance.

Responsible for prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiating corrective actions towards the variances.

Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor (sub-contractors) to revenues.

Plan and review compensation actions, enforcing policies and procedures.

Manage relationships with key operations vendors and track vendor pricing, rebates and service levels.

Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure submission of document for payment processing.

Responsible for inbound and outbound warehouse & logistics arrangements and scheduling requirements.

Responsible for all aspects of vehicles and heavy equipment purchase, maintenance and storage

To ensure stock management in order to minimize out of stock (OOS), stock loss and ensure availability of stock at all time.

To ensure fast-moving goods are replenished within reasonable time frame while slow moving items are replenish-able on time.

To maintain and control appropriate flow of stocks including to ensure good quality of products received in a timely manner.

To have knowledge in fruits & vegetables hence able to make recommendations to customers to boost sales.

To perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.

**Experience**

Ø Required skill(s): Negotiation Skills, Buying Knowledge, MS Office.

Ø Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese

Ø At least 2-5 year(s) of relevant working experience in fresh produce industry

Ø Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, good problem-solving skills & able to make realistic decisions and customer-focused with strong market awareness.

Ø Able to work beyond normal working hours if required, under pressure with tight deadlines and meeting targets given.

Ø Result oriented, self-motivated, good team player and go-getter attitude.

Ø High integrity, passionate, strong analytical and meticulous.

Ø Must have own transport and able to travel as when required.

Ø Able to work late nights
