**Role Purpose**:

- To support the growth of English Online via partnerships and business contracts by contributing to and implementing the English Online partnerships strategy.
- To work closely with Corporate English Solutions (CES) team and provide them sales enablement support to win contracts for English Online.
- To provide the CES team support in client success for English Online project to support client retention.
- To use sales and marketing tools to identify potential partners for English Online and work with the Commercial Partnerships Lead to develop more sales and reseller partnerships.
- To develop and send out communication for internal stakeholders to keep them abreast about developments.
- To support development of communication for external stakeholders to promote English Online, engage clients and support delivery of English Online successfully.
- To gather competitor insight for English Online in the B2BIG space.
- To gather customer insight and ensure that that the business is up-to-date with CES and partnerships user feedback.

**Main accountabilities but not limited to the following**:
**Business development**
- Work towards the partnerships and B2B target for the English Online business by contributing to a commercial partnerships and B2B strategy and its implementation for English Online.
- Prospect leads and set up meetings / meet with organisations for commercial partnerships for English Online with the view to grow number of partners and partnership income for the business.
- Contribute towards submission of bids and proposals by drafting and obtaining sales documentation.
- Investigate and implement ways of upselling, cross-selling and other sales promotion with B2B clients and students.
- Identify conferences and awards for English Online to raise awareness with relevant institutional segments.
- Create and identify business development opportunities by being agile, competitive, client and partner focused.

**Customer Success**
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships and communication with internal stakeholders across the business and geographical areas (English Online operations, marketing, academic and tech teams, Corporate English Solutions sales team, other sales teams in departments such as Exams, English Programmes), to create enthusiasm for selling the English Online portfolio and identify business development opportunities for the business.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationship with external partners and clients to grow the business and create positive word of mouth and advocates. Engage with and manage small to mid-sized partner and client accounts independently.
- Contact clients and students to get feedback and testimonials and create case studies.
- Investigate and implement ways of engaging with the wider student population to identify potential B2B and partnership opportunities.

**Sales and delivery enablement**
- Connect with sales teams (SAMs, BDEs, CSOs) in the British Council to create enthusiasm for the English Online portfolio. Ensure that teams are confident and accurate while selling the products.
- Engage with internal sales colleagues to provide support on sales opportunities, proposals, pricing, and pitching English Online.
- Create internal communication on English Online to engage with internal sales teams.
- Contribute to creating sales collateral and campaigns that can be used by sales teams to prospect clients.
- Create (or design briefs for) exciting and relevant content for marketing channels such as LinkedIn and blogs to promote the English Online offer to prospective clients and partners.

**Analysis and Reporting**
- Prepare and share reports on partnerships for English Online, reporting on revenue, volume, growth, trends, feedback, and other performance indicators.
