Job Description

This role involves developing new accounts, maintaining relationships with customers, conducting product presentations, and exceeding sales targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding company sales by identifying new business opportunities, negotiating agreements, and closing sales.

Main Responsibilities
  • To develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the healthcare industry to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop existing customer relationships to ensure continued growth in sales.
  • Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets, negotiating terms of agreements and closing sales.
  • Serve existing customers' needs, manage daily activities, and provide necessary weekly sales progress reports.
  • Establish and maintain regular personal contact with all relevant decision-makers and key influencers to drive and deliver the operating plan.
  • Organize and conduct product presentation training for potential and existing customers.
  • Conduct demonstrations for the product represented.
  • Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed sales and budget targets.
  • Prepare cost calculations, submit quotations, and all necessary documentation required to close the sales.
  • Attend all necessary sales training conducted by management.
  • Follow up for collection of payment and ensure all demo equipment is returned to the Company without damage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Diploma in Medical Science/Biomedical Engineering/Neuroscience.
  • Preferably candidates with a minimum of 4 years' sales working experience in the Healthcare/Medical industry. Experience in operating theatre/surgical/microscope/neuro-monitoring background would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others; ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Must be willing to travel and possess own vehicle.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
