We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and client relationships.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of consistently delivering or exceeding sales targets, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Sales: Focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across diverse industries, targeting marketing, corporate communications, public relations and/or investor relations professionals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing clients, providing them with tailored solutions and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual targets, staying ahead of competition by following up on all leads and opportunities.
  • Reporting and Feedback: Provide regular feedback to supervisors on sales activities, including client wins/losses, competition activity, product feedback, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in new business sales, preferably in SaaS or subscription-based solutions.
  • A solid track record of delivering or exceeding sales targets and other relevant KPIs.
  • High level of self-motivation, growth mindset, and accountability; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Competent in territory management and fluent in verbal and written English and local language.
