We are looking for a highly skilled Performance Marketing Strategist to join our team at the PUMA Group. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing local strategies that connect deeply with Malaysian consumers through key sports and cultural touchpoints.

About This Role

You will play a crucial role in driving strategy, establishing partnerships, and executing impactful activations that resonate with our target audience. To succeed in this role, you will need to possess deep industry knowledge, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to lead projects and teams while delivering measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communication plans for the Performance portfolio categories (Run/Train/Teamsports) that align with Global and SEA marketing seasonal initiatives.
  • Build a robust portfolio of ambassadors, athletes, and teams that amplify category storytelling and enhance PUMA's reputation as the preferred brand in these categories.
  • Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Go-To Market, and Sales teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and brand messaging.
Skill Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A university degree with a focus on Marketing or Sports Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in sports marketing, preferably with a background in running categories.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategies that drive engagement and growth.
  • MS Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Bilingual/multi-lingual skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa required.
