Your Key Objectives
  • Confirm receipt of invoices from Service Providers across the Asia Pacific Region.
  • Establish and manage all Inbound shipments within the Asia Pacific Region, encompassing various modes of transportation, including road, air, sea, and CEP.
  • Receive and handle shipment notifications for Inbound cargo from transport forwarders within the Asia Pacific Region.
  • Monitor and track all Inbound shipments within the Asia Pacific Region.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates of shipment details in the SAP system.
  • Resolve customer complaints related to transportation by documenting and processing them in the SAP system.
  • Cultivate relationships with external partners, including carriers, shipping agencies, trucking providers, warehouse suppliers, and finance teams.
  • Oversee the acquisition of incidental costs.
  • Prepare and submit documents for claim settlements at insurance companies for all Inbound shipments within the Asia Pacific Region.
  • Promote efficiency and effectiveness in logistics lead times for Asia Pacific Inbound shipments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define demands on the logistics network regarding capacity utilization, response times, and transit times.
  • Support project implementation and rollout activities throughout all phases.
  • Maintain records of corrective actions and track progress.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead process and system migrations in SAP, involving active participation in system design, user acceptance testing, and further development of related processes and user manuals.
  • Assist in the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, such as Robotics Process Automation (RPA).
  • Manage Project Cargo within the Asia Pacific Region, collaborating closely with the Project Team.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc tasks and reporting requirements.
  • Support user training and manual development.
Your Qualifications and Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field.
  • Relevant work experience in Forwarding or shipping companies, Logistics, SCM, or transport management handling may be considered instead of a degree.
  • A minimum of three years of work experience in Logistics, SCM, or transport complaint handling is required.
  • Familiarity with transport processes and administration is essential.
  • Strong expertise in SAP modules, particularly SD and MM.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with database management systems like Access or SQL is desirable.
  • Fluency in English language, enabling effective business communication (required).
