Key Responsibilities- Act as the EHS, Risk Management, and Business Continuity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support program understanding and compliance across the GSC APAC Region.
- Provide training on EHS, Risk Management, and Business Continuity regulations and Pfizer requirements across the APAC Regional Network.
- Conduct effective EHS, Risk Management, and Business Continuity compliance audits and assessments, and develop corresponding action plans to ensure Regional Network compliance.
- Provide EHS, Risk Management, and Business Continuity SME support and rationale during contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Support sites before, during, and after EHS and Business Continuity audits, Risk Management Loss Prevention Surveys, regulatory reviews, and during acquisitions or divestitures.
- 7 years of EHS experience, with at least 4 years in the pharmaceutical industry and/or logistics.
- BA Degree.
- Fluent in English, with additional languages a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of Country-specific and international regulations in the APAC Region.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of Business Continuity Programs, Risk Management Practices, and Fire Protection Systems.
- Familiarity with the hazards presented by pharmaceutical products and associated packaging.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain functions and activities.
- Experience working in multiple regions and/or globally, with awareness of the impacts of cultural differences when working internationally.
- Office position with approximately 30% travel.
- On-call due to the nature of EHS and International responsibilities.
- Willingness to work non-APAC hours to align with Global locations.
- Ability to wear site-required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
- Ability to conduct assessments/audits of outdoor equipment and facilities in all types of environmental conditions.
