Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general accounting duties such as data entry, handling petty cash, and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, SOA, and other accounting documents
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing, payroll, processing payments, and following up on outstanding balances
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurately recorded and reported

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Accounting or a related field
  • Able to speak/write English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an accounts assistant or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
  • Proficiency in using accounting software like AUTOCOUNT and Microsoft Office applications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the finance team and other departments
  • A proactive and organized approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
