Job DescriptionFinancial Control and Compliance
  • Ensure that stock valuation and processes comply with statutory requirements and procedures, maintaining the highest level of financial integrity.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate business risk associated with stock valuation, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Central Financial control to conduct external and internal audits of stock valuation, identifying areas for improvement.
Data Quality and Integrity
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of Product Cost Estimates and the Material Ledger, driving data quality initiatives.
  • Work closely with Central IT support to resolve transactional issues in the SAP configuration, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of the material ledger, investigating and resolving data issues, and conducting root cause analysis to minimize recurring problems.
Process Optimization and Support
  • Develop and distribute weekly reports to monitor the material ledger, providing actionable insights for process improvement.
  • Ensure timely completion of central month-end processes, guaranteeing the material ledger closes on schedule.
  • Provide support to Operations finance plant teams with material ledger issue resolution and training, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Complete month-end material ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Commercial finance to resolve stock and cost of sales valuation queries, providing expert guidance.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 3 years of general SAP experience, with at least 2 years of experience in material ledger control.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on technical and business issues.
  • Well-organized and skilled at prioritizing tasks, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, with good communication skills within a team environment.
