Senior Property Development Executive

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is a well-established and award-winning company based in Malaysia. We are seeking a dynamic executive to lead our property development projects in the Southern Region.
Estimated Salary: RM37,000 - RM57,000This remuneration package includes a basic salary of RM30,000 to RM50,000 and a fixed allowance of RM7,000.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and heading the property development company in the Southern Region. This includes overseeing project planning, design management, construction works progress monitoring, works quality assurance, construction cost control, and liaison with internal and external parties.
- To establish and manage all divisions of the property development company, including Project, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Admin.
- To develop and implement overall project planning, design coordination during construction, government inspections, and project completion.
- To manage construction work tenders, monitor construction works progress, ensure works quality, control construction costs, and liaise with internal and external parties on all construction matters.
- To develop structural schemes, manage projects, oversee programs and budgets.
- To supervise external consultants in preparing Civil / Structural works.
- To actively participate in pre-qualification and tender interviews for major direct contracts.
- To coordinate with government officials, consultants, contractors, and attend regular project and site meetings.
- To provide input and market insights into strategic business and budget planning processes.
- To assess potential growth areas and identify specific sites suitable for property development.
- To source and evaluate potential land banks for property development/investment and obtain top management approval.
- To conduct feasibility studies/sales assumptions on potential projects incorporating business and company risk profiles.
- To anticipate and share legal issues related to land transactions.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Structural, Architecture, Building, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 12 years of relevant working experience in property development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English is a must).
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities for maximum delivery results.
- Able to build effective partnerships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to dive deep into details while maintaining focus on the big picture.
- Must be prepared to define their position on significant issues and drive change when necessary.
- High standards of construction work with successful execution experience in implementing CONQUAS, QLASSIC etc.
