Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Primary Roles:

  1. Conduct Workplace Inspections: Participate in regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and practices that may compromise the safety and health of our employees and customers.
  2. Incident Investigations: Assist in investigating incidents to determine root causes and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent future occurrences.
  3. Document Management: Assist in maintaining occupational safety and health documents, including HIRARC, Training Records, Inspection Records, and SOPs, to ensure compliance with legal regulations, standards, and requirements.
  4. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support relating to occupational safety and health, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
  5. Reporting and Compliance: Assist in updating records of incidents and preparing reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.

Secondary Roles:

  1. OSH Related Duties: Assist in Occupational Safety and Health related ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Engage with regulatory agencies and other departments within the company to meet OSH objectives.
Requirements

Qualification:

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), or a related field.
  2. Possessing OSH Coordinator Certification or other OSH-related certificate is an added advantage.

Experience:

  1. No work experience required.
  2. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Skills and Knowledge:

  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  2. Proficient in writing and communicating in English and Malay.
  3. Good organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.

Behavioral Traits:

  1. Can effortlessly and independently adopt the fast-paced mindset. Must be able to work effectively and efficiently without constant monitoring and minimal supervision.
  2. Can work well in a team and have a positive go-getter attitude. Constantly try to improve your work performance and learn to be better at the tasks given.
  3. Able to think fast and act promptly when faced with challenges and propose ideas or solutions on how to overcome complications. Capable of staying neutral and professional when faced with difficulties.
