This role is focused on leading the distribution operations, working closely with our client to develop and manage an agile structure.

The key objective of this position is to create a high-performing team, fostering knowledge enhancement and creating an overall agile workforce capable of adapting to new challenges and tasks.

  • Develop and implement strategies for managing the GDS Distribution Cost, BIDT Auditing, and ADM.
  • Analyse and optimize the distribution ecosystem, providing a high-level overview to management and guiding peers on cost optimization strategies.
  • Develop a robust distribution infrastructure to establish NDC as the lead, ensuring support from Regional Sales, Revenue Management, and IT departments.
  • Manage contractual obligations with internal and external stakeholders, preparing management papers and necessary presentations to obtain internal approvals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Reservation & Ticketing, with the ability to troubleshoot and analyse route causes.
  • Display leadership skills in the development of a multi-skilled and agile workforce, utilizing the company's performance management tools.
  • Maintain a customer-service-oriented approach, coupled with a problem-solving attitude.
