Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Northern Malaysia. As the Senior Sales Engineer, Commercial Applied, you will be responsible for managing sales and business activities in this region, ensuring operational plans and objectives are met.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing professional relationships with strategic prospects to understand their needs and meet customer expectations within contracted scope.
  • Coordinating business development activities to support the company's defined strategy.
  • Analyzing bid opportunities, preparing final bid responses with the team, negotiating with potential customers, and maintaining customer relationships to secure projects.
  • Contacting potential prospects to discuss their needs and explain how our products and services can meet them, creating new client bases and increasing sales.
  • Responsible for product presentations and workshops, educating prospects on our product line and addressing resistance to develop business.
  • Maintaining personal pipelines and customer logs while supporting the management team representative on target accounts or territories.
  • Hunting for new opportunities.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment sales & solutions.
  • Business Development experience in HVAC sales and service.
  • Project execution and solution selling skills.
  • Solution Selling Experience.
  • A focus on sustainability.
  • An understanding of Application, Energy, Mechanical controls, and the HVAC industry.
  • Willingness to be based at Bayan Lepas, Penang.
