Your primary responsibility will be to understand and apply current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds. You will review transaction and valuation information, prepare Net Asset Value calculations and reports, and coordinate investor servicing activities. You will also maintain a working understanding of fund documentation and apply the terms to financial reporting and income and expense allocations. Additionally, you will prepare and review financial statements and footnotes for audit purposes, liaise with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians, and resolve issues and queries raised by clients in a timely manner. You will be the primary contact to clients on daily operational issues and requests. You will also identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase operational efficiency. You must be comfortable performing early morning work patterns and be required to work from 7am to 4pm.

Minimum Requirements:

* Hold a university degree in Accounting or relevant field, qualified accountant or other relevant qualification preferred
* Have a minimum of 3-4 years progressive accounting/audit/fund administration experience in hedge fund or private equity
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel
* Strong knowledge in IFRS and US GAAP
* Experience with accounting software: Investran and Geneva would be an advantage
