We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Employee Relations and Culture Development efforts in Malaysia (including GBS). As the Head of Employee Relations and Culture Development, you will be responsible for shaping the Bank's culture and behaviors, fostering a fair and inclusive work environment, and managing ER risk across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Culture Development: Develop and implement strategies to promote a high-performing culture that mitigates people management risk to the Bank.
- ER Leadership: Provide leadership to deliver fair treatment for Bank colleagues, serving as a trusted COE and advisor, promoting valued behaviors, and driving global and regional consistency.
- ER Risk Management: Manage ER risk across SC and GBS Malaysia, overseeing ER processes and administration, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Talent Management: Lead the ER team in Malaysia (including GBS), providing timely performance feedback and development opportunities, and ensuring the team meets capability and capacity standards.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with Country Management Teams, Head of ER, Asia, Global Head ER, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives and drive employee engagement.
- Conduct and Compliance: Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Regulatory Awareness: Stay up-to-date with local employment and ER-related legislation, anticipating implications for the Bank and providing guidance on ER-related regulatory issues.
- Qualifications: Qualified Employment Lawyer or ER specialist with significant relevant experience, managing Bank engagement with employee representative bodies, and strong knowledge of the local legislative and regulatory landscape.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
