Job Overview

The Solution Center Team is responsible for driving Customer Growth and Experience, as well as supporting the Distribution Channel business unit in making it easy for our Distribution partners to do business with TE. With a focus on global service, the organization provides support to over 400 employees who serve both Customers and Distributors.

Job Description

A Day in the Life of a TE Sales and Technical Consultant:

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing expert advice on TE products, services, and capabilities to meet customer needs and design requirements. Sell the value proposition of TE Connectivity products and services to customers.

• Establish new, high-quality opportunities with prospective customers and contacts through outbound calls.

• Communicate with end customers through various channels such as phone, email, and chat to resolve technical queries and propose options and solutions.

• Collaborate with internal support teams, including production, sales, engineering, customer care, and others as needed to resolve customer inquiries and requests.

• Nurture and grow small and medium customer pipelines via Salesforce through regular touch points with end customers.

• Work with TE franchised distributors to provide quotations and order fulfillment.

• Promote the TE portfolio of products to drive revenue.

Customer Effort Score (CES), Opportunity Conversion, Revenue Growth

What your background should look like:

Education:
Bachelors technical or business degree preferred or equivalent experience

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, influencing abilities, and ability to provide effective feedback.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to initiate, organize, and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate ability to share creative and new ideas.
  • Desired consultative selling experience.
  • Relevant product or industry experience a plus.
  • Team player, critical thinker, self-motivator, and ability to maintain a proactive positive attitude.
  • Passion for serving customers.
  • Mandarin speaking, writing, and typing required.
  • Preferred one to two years working experience, fresh graduates welcome.
