  • Project Coordination: Validate local information and requirements in coordination with the Project Manager to ensure seamless integration.
  • Project Planning: Partner with the Project Manager to draft essential project deliverables encompassing technical solutions, scope, budget, planning, risks, and staffing plans.
  • Project Risk Management: Co-develop the project execution strategy with the Project Manager, prioritizing risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Project Compliance: Verify technical integrity and coherence between commercial offers and project definitions, supporting the Project Manager.
  • Project Negotiation: Engage in negotiations and aid the business developer in delivering competitive proposals.
  • Project Quality Assurance: Ensure project compliance with AL rules, systems, and relevant external regulations.
During the Execution Phase
  • Project Execution Excellence: Assist the Project Manager in driving project execution excellence, meeting defined KPIs such as technical performance, Capex, schedule, and risks.
  • Contract Management: Support the Project Manager in contracting, managing, and challenging both external and internal suppliers and contractors.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate stakeholders to ensure project quality and integrity up to the transfer to Operations.
  • Construction and Commissioning: Strive for excellence in Construction & Commissioning activities.
  • Change Management: Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage changes and negotiate with Gas Customer(s).
  • Risk Management: Work alongside the Project Manager to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Project Reporting: Adhere to the project management system, providing regular status reports to the Project Manager.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist the Project Manager in executing a comprehensive QA job scope for EPSD gas systems, from installation to commissioning to after-sales services.
  • Asset Management: Support adherence to QA financial guidelines and good asset management, ensuring accountability of QA assets to secure project wins.
  • Quality Standards: Uphold high Division quality standards, promoting win-win solutions with subcontractors while prioritizing Divisional interests.
Safety, Quality Assurance, and Risk Management
  • Safety Performance: Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain high safety performance, implementing safety rules and conducting safety reviews, along with defining and executing safety action plans.
  • Integrated Management System: Ensure project compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) throughout its lifecycle.
  • Safety and Specification Requirements: Adhere to all safety and specification requirements, prioritizing compliance and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemistry or related Engineering field.
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the wafer fab industrial sector with knowledge of QA/QC processes.
  • Skills: Proficient in working within tight schedules, preferably with experience in the wafer fab industrial sector.
  • Project Execution: Experience in project execution and familiarity with gas equipment.
  • QA/QC Processes: Experience in QA/QC processes will be an advantage.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, adept at communication and maintaining relationships at all levels, including customers.
  • Location: Located in or Willing to relocate to Penang, Malaysia.
