About This Role

The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the front office department, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Lead the night audit process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • Design and implement strategies to boost occupancy and ADR through effective front desk sales techniques.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute departmental plans.
  • Monitor and verify guest credit and billing instructions.
  • Foster a culture of excellence among front-line staff, promoting FIT marketing techniques and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Deliver personalized service, attentive care, and recognition to guests, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Address guest concerns, gather feedback, and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate closely with the Front Office Manager on all operational matters affecting guest service and hotel operations.
  • Manage staff scheduling, work assignments, and performance goals, providing coaching and feedback to enhance team member performance.
  • Ensure team members receive comprehensive training on laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
