This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join OCBC as a Senior Relationship Development Manager in the Southern Region. As a key member of our Premier Private Banking team, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients with a minimum of RM3 million in assets under management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and acquire new clients with a minimum of RM3 million in assets under management.
  2. Develop and execute strategies to cross-sell the OCBC Premier Private Banking value proposition to high net worth individuals.
  3. Collaborate with internal business partners to achieve mutual business goals and enhance the customer base.
  4. Work closely with the Premier Private Banking Centre team to meet clients' unique needs and identify cross-sell opportunities.
  5. Organize acquisition activities to generate new leads and business.
  6. Conduct all required Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures and documentation.
  7. Meet the compliance and control standards set in the end-to-end client onboarding process.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 3 years of excellent acquisition sales or business development experience in the high net worth space.
  2. Tertiary Education, preferably a Bachelor's degree.
  3. Strong new relationship building skills.
  4. Possess a sharp business development focus and demonstrate innovative approaches.
  5. Able to anticipate client requests/needs and resolve queries in a timely manner.
  6. Demonstrates a natural interest in the economy, local markets, and regional dynamics.
  7. Highly driven and positively motivated.
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Polished and mature to handle the affluent market segment.
  10. Efficient in MS Office Suite.
