**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Hardware Staff Engineer to join our team at Sanmina Corporation. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated machine hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated machine hardware systems, including conceptualization, design, and development of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Decide on the best hardware system configuration, including actuators, motors, drivers, controllers, sensors, and electrical and system components.
  • Build and commission automated machines, troubleshoot issues, and release them to production.
  • Generate design documentation, including mechanical and electrical BOM lists, and provide cost estimation and ROI analysis.
  • Support and provide continuous improvement on automation projects to meet product yield, quality, and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automation, with 2 years in design of automated equipment and systems.
  • Detail-oriented and possess good knowledge and experience in design of manufacturing automation concepts and automated equipment.
  • Well-versed in generating full manufacturing automation solutions using 3D Solidworks or other modeling software.
  • A team player with ability to work independently and collaborate well with other functional groups and customers.
