**Job Description**:

- **Customised Python Solutions**: Contribute to internal and/or external libraries used in current projects by raising issues, creating the necessary SOPs or documentation. Creatively contributing new features that add value to new or current projects; write clean, re-usable code, expertise in optimizing code, and the ability to perform code review and offer relevant optimization techniques for colleagues
- **Data Domain Knowledge**: Build an understanding of the data landscape in the research business and provide automation expertise and text mining capabilities. Analyse cross platform data and have knowledge on how to make this work for the required processes.
- **Right Approach / Tool Choice**: Work with the team to build a deep understanding of a wide range of commonly available Data Science approaches and tools will help to create the right solutions to solve various business problem
- **Data Manipulation**: Understand the lifecycle of the data and the data systems deployed in the team; make changes to the data tech stack; write and maintain advanced data pipelines; use advance Python skills; handle all types of data (e.g., streaming, structured, unstructured data)
- **Scalability, Reliability, Maintenance**: Build scalable, sustainable and re-usable systems, both in automation processes and operations platform.

**Qualifications**:

- Significant experience (3-5 years) as a Python engineer with the ability to understand various data structures and be able to perform standard methods of data collection and data transformation tasks.
- Familiarity with front end technologies like JavaScript and HTML5 Design.
- Have hands-on experience working with several types of Python libraries, such as Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, Selenium and Pandas.
- Strong understanding of various other Python Libraries, APIs, and toolkits.
- Python based RPA experience skills would be an advantage.
- Experience with multiple SQL and No SQL databases would be an advantage.
- Familiarity in at least one popular Python framework like Django Flask or Pyramid Sound would be an advantage.
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP Data Science framework/tools will be an advantage.
- Independently design, deliver and deploy automation projects with mínimal guidance following set practices and guiding principles.
- Knowledge and expertise in Agile, CI / CD and DevOps methodologies would be preferred.
- Work closely with the principal engineer and other team members to provide cross-functional solutions for the various business units to develop various descriptive, predictive or prescriptive models.
- Able to confidently propose automation solutions, explore various approaches to validate business findings and hypothesis, and finally articulate these findings and methodologies used.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate business and technical requirements.
- Fluency in English is a must.
